        Course aims to continue the SRT skills the caver has learnt and introduce 
        him/her to the more advanced skills necessary for rigging and self rescue. 
     The course is run 
      over two days. Personal Caving equipment 
      and SRT kits will not be supplied on the course.  Course Programme; 
    Day One  
        Conservation: 
          Conservation and bolting (8mm and eco) Revision 
          on Knots: 
          Figure of 8,Bowline, Rabbits ears, Italian Hitch, Fisherman's Knot, 
          Butterfly, etc. Rigging 
          Techniques: 
          Single pitches Wet/Dry, Multi-pitches, Traverses, hauling Rope 
          Rescue: rescuing 
          the unconscious caver, from above, below  Caving Videos will run 
    in the evening  Course Programme; 
    Day Two  A caving trip will be 
    run where the candidate will be given an opportunity of using the skills learnt 
    on the previous day.  The 
        CandidateIt is designed to suit the recreational and club caver who wants to advance 
    to more adventurous caves and learn good rigging and rope rescue techniques.
  The 
        Qualification It is expected that the candidate has caved regularly and is proficient at 
    SRT (a log of previous experience may be required).
 The 
        Training This course is designed to introduce the candidate to safe rigging and rescue 
    practices and techniques using Single Rope Technique
 The Equipment 
        The candidate will be expected to bring his/her own personal caving equipment 
    including SRT kits. Ropes will be provided by the trainers.
 The TrainersAll trainers will be to CI standard.
